Many of us sadly experience mental health issues at some point in our lives. Over the last few years, numerous campaigns have sought to break down the stigma of sharing our struggles with mental health. This has fortunately allowed the space for individuals to bravely share their stories with us. In this talk, Dr Nikki Roach talks about her challenges dealing with anxiety as she completed her dream PhD in tropical conservation biology.
This talk was brought to you by Be in the Change’s Global Huddle. During the first Global Huddle, an online festival of ideas and stories, we invited a dozen changemakers from across the globe to share with us their journeys of how they helped to make a positive difference in society.
Dr Nikki Roach is a science communicator and tropical conservation biologist. You can connect with her on Twitter here.
